Reads "Pay-Table-Office, March 20th 1783, Sir, Please to secure to Comfort Tredway the Payment of Nine Pounds eight shillings and six pence being the Balance found due to him for Service in the Continental Army in 1780 Agreeable to A& of Assembly and Charge the State. L.9-8-6" Signed "William Moseley Committee, John Lawrence, Efq; Treasurer, 4:14:3". On back of paper signed "9455 Order Comfort Tredway L9-8-6, March 20-1783.
